When To Choose In-Person Instead

A note on when contactless is not the right call.

Most situations are well-suited to contactless. A few are better handled with a call or a sit-down.

Multi-year catch-up returns with significant gaps in documentation
Complex capital gains events involving multiple disposals or restructures
Active ATO audits, reviews or amended assessments under dispute
Restructure conversations that need a whiteboard, not a screen

In any of these cases, we will flag it early and offer a video call or in-person meeting. The default is still contactless, the exception is what we make easy.

Can I still call or meet if I want to?

Yes. Contactless is the default, not the only option. Most clients use a 15-minute call once during preparation to walk through anything unclear. In-person meetings are available on request.

How fast does it actually move?

For a standard PAYG return, most lodge within 5 business days of receiving complete documents. Complex situations are scoped before quoting.

How do I send my documents?

Whichever way is easiest for you. Most clients email documents directly. A secure portal is also available on request, useful if you have a lot of files or prefer not to use email. Either way, everything is stored encrypted on Australian-hosted systems and retained for the statutory period before being securely destroyed.

Can I send my partner or family member through too?

Yes. Family and group lodgements are common. Each person verifies their own identity, and we coordinate the returns together where it makes sense.
